We've made our second video, plus we need your help

Our second video is completed and we've decided we're going to make 15 more to make our debut album a video album. In order to do this, we're going to need some help. We've started an indiegogo account and are looking for contributors who want cool stuff..namely, videos of their own. Depending on how much you donate, we'll make a video for you. It can be anything you want within reason and within our schedule. Check out our project page for more details....

Making a full-length album????

Well, we're finally getting off our asses and doing some recording. The plan is to record every song we've got and to then decide which ones will go on the full-length album.

In the mean-time we've got two videos planned for album teasers. We're going to record those two songs first, make the videos and then record the rest. So stay tuned for some surprises and hopefully some surprise guests.

Our Mohawk show tonight!

Being 9/11 and because of the wildfire events close to home, our show tonight at the Mohawk will be a benefit show for my friend Jessica Shepherd. http://www.jessicashepherd.com/ Jessica and her mother lost their house due to the wildfire in Bastrop. If you'd like to donate you can go to her page or you can come to our show tonight. Our profits from the show will go toward Jessica's fund.

'Hot:Crazy' EP recording is underway

We headed out to Goliath Studios this past weekend to lay down some tracks for our 'Hot:Crazy' EP. As you can see from the video, Alon is tuning his drums. That's right folks, we've graduated from recording one-takes on Alon's iPhone and doing it for reals. We'll be back in the studio this weekend to do some fill-ins and vocal tracks. Hopefully we'll get some better videos and photos for your viewing pleasure.

We're playing the Parlor

After possibly the worst practice every last week, we've decided it's a great time to play a show. We've hooked up with the Parlor to bring you awesome music and hot, doughy pizza. Come check us out and let us know what songs you want to hear on our EP.

Kicking off our official blog!

I have some exciting news for our first post in our official blog. Soy Bombs are currently planning to record an EP, or at least we talked about it today in practice. Don't want to give away too much information, but the EP will contain 4 songs. If you have any input on what songs you'd like on the EP, let us know in the comments. We're tentativlely looking to start recording in August or September or October...whenever we have time actually.

We also have two new songs that we'll be adding to our set list: "Tired of Love," and "Annie Ray." And we're hoping to be playing a show in the coming weeks so stay tuned.
